US Refinery Status: ConocoPhillips’ NJ Refinery FCCU Off Line
      Feb 10, 2012

      DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
The following table lists unplanned and planned production outages at U.S. refineries as reported by Dow Jones Newswires. The information is compiled from both official and unofficial refining sources and doesn’t purport to be a comprehensive list.
ConocoPhillips’ (COP) New Jersey refinery FCCU was taken off-line on Jan. 26, a trader doing business in the NY Harbor market said on Jan. 27. There was no further information available; ConocoPhillips doesn’t comment on day-to-day operations.
CVR Energy Inc. (CVI) on Jan. 26 reported emissions in connection with maintenance under way to repair damaged equipment at unspecified process units shut since Jan. 12 at its oil refinery in Wynnewood, Okla, a filing to regulators said. A previous filing identified said a crude unit was shut on Jan. 12 for what was expected to be three to four days of maintenance.
ConocoPhillips on Jan. 26 said talk and reports of a 50% reduction of crude oil throughput at its Wood River Refinery in Roxana, Ill. are unfounded and that operations at the 306,000-barrel-a-day plant are routine.
Hess Corp. (HES) on Jan. 25 said it may take its Port Reading, N.J., fluid catalytic cracking facility off-line for three weeks of turnaround maintenance. The decision to undergo repairs will be made after a technical analysis. The unit is operating, but catalyst loss has been somewhat higher than normal, a spokeswoman for the company said. The 70,000-barrel-a-day facility recently reported several flaring events to the National Response Center.
Tesoro Corp. (TSO) on Jan. 23 said some units at its refinery in Kapolei, Hawaii, were restarting and some were resuming normal operations following a series of power outages last week. The company declined to say which units were affected. For more detailed information, search Dow Jones Newswires using
