Delek reports FCCU upset at Tyler Refinery
March 4, 2011 (Reuters) – Delek U.S. Holdings reported an upset at the fluid catalytic cracking unit (FCCU) resulted in intermittent excess opacity at the CO boiler stack at its 60,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Tyler, Texas, according to a filing with state pollution regulators. “Normal operation was restored in a controlled manner as quickly as possible following standard procedures,” the filing said.
