Animal fats are extremely excellent cracking feedstocks with no aromatics, no metals, extremely low sulfur and nitrogen. We expect the conversion would be 95+% with very low delta coke. The gasoline octane will be low.
Is anyone in the world feeding this stuff to a FCC?
I’m working in a European refinery, and we think this could be a good way to comply with the future specs on biofuels…
