Syncrude isolated a unit at its Mildred Lake oilsands facility in Alberta, Canada after a fire erupted on June 10, injuring five employees. The blaze occurred in the 7-3 diluent recovery unit, causing minor damage, the firm said. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
