I know that it is a Coking Best Practice to inject antifoam 180° opposite the Coke Drum Vapor line. We want to inject antifoam into the top of the Coke Drums as far away as possible so that we avoid some of it from being swept out the vapor line. My question is, has anyone done a study on this as to quantify the amount of antifoam saved?
