BASF hosting fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) technology and troubleshooting seminars around the globe

ISELIN, NJ, April 19, 2011 –BASF, the global leader in catalysis, today announced that it will be hosting a series of fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) technical seminars designed to help refinery operators around the world meet their manufacturing and profitability objectives in the most effective manner possible.Beginning in April, and throughout 2011, BASF will host these educational and highly interactive seminars at locations in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Led by BASF refinery catalyst technology experts, these one- and two-day seminars will introduce newcomers to the refinery market, exploring the fundamentals of FCC manufacturing technologies and catalyst cracking reactions.
In-depth topics for seasoned veterans will include a review of BASF technical service and support, as well as FCC troubleshooting tips and tools. Each meeting will conclude with a roundtable and question and answer session with refinery and catalyst experts from both industry and BASF.
