Recently we need to do some maintenance in our E-cat Vessel and during a 45 days we reduced our catalyst feed to our FCC because we can not withdrawal catalyst from FCCU to the E-cat vessel. Because that the specific area reduced from 140 to 100-110. Also the conversion reduced, LPG, naphtha reduced, etc. What is it the catalytic minimal area in terms of operation ? Or is it only a economical point ? Which process variables can I detect in the unit if the catalyst activity is reduced ?
