      • Consider wet gas scrubber operations at a different pH level — Adjust acid level
      • Water quality to scrubber
      • Know the quality & specs of water used
        – Look at calcium limits
        – Fresh water is preferred over sour water
      • What possibilities are there to re-vamp the scrubber
        – Larger taller scrubbers may be necessary
        – Look at Low tox retrofit
      • Consider utilizing any feed handles available
      • Consider utilizing any feed handles available
      • Look at caustic addition limits going to the scrubber
      • Look at purge rates
        – Keep sediment levels at 0.4 max
      • Consider utilizing a SOx reduction additive to reduce SOx to the scrubber during unusual times
        – High caustic price for more economical operation
        – To unload scrubber demand as needed to meet limits
