I work for a clad metal manufacturer. I am interested in anyone’s experience with 625 cladding vs. 410S cladding in coke drums. Whether made from rollbond or explosion weld or weld overlay. We have been asked to prepare samples for investigation of 625 clad, but I have never heard of anyone building an entire drum with 625 clad.
