I was wondering if anyone has experienced problems with excessive spillage and/or corrosion to rail as a result of coke fines build up. Do you have a build up of coke fines along the rail service leaving the facility? What have you done to minimize this problem?
We have decoked directly into specially modified railcars in the past, and experienced corrosion from the cutting water and coke in these areas. Also have seen corrosion around the loading area. Generally, not a whole lot of spillage leaving the facility though.
