      What should be the specification for the cutting water ? Can we use ETP treated water as make up to the tank which is having high chloride (1150 ppm wt)? Does TSS is having any effect on the cutting ?

      There are some paper about improve this system hydrocarbon processing may 2008, sometime the specification for this systems dont show H2S or NH3 only call for TSS, but for this system you have to keep in mind

      No way; you do not want chlorides over 200 ppmw in your cutting water since it will cause severe damage to expensive and critical decoking equipments. Solids is less a problem, as long as keeping them moving.
