Would like to hear from experts about established Vendors for the Coke Handling Bridge Crane; for some time in the market there have been Kone Cranes, and then we’ve heard the news about P&H operations being taken over by Kone. Do we have other Vendors, and would the experts like to comment on their performance ? We’d be in the market for procurement of a coke handling bridge crane, for a four drum DCU greenfield project……Thanks in advance

we have had two cranes of both companies, and them are showed some fails associated  to the equipment and certain of which were  improvements have been solved and they have worked well, among these problems were

Failure of electric motors by the presence of coke inside
failure of the electronics for high temperature and corrosion
      failure of steel cable
      failure of electrical cables feestoon

If you read spanish and you can gime me you email I can send you some report for the electrical motor fails, , much of this fails began after  8 months , we had several type of crane for example we have P&H, where all the electronic was in a closed cabinet with air conditioner bad was good enought (the ambient temperature was 35 to 38C), also no was hermetic and some vapor (steam an H2s trace from tha coke pit/pad ) going inside (corrosion an dust coke over the eletronic card was a problem), the dust coke over this electronis card some time produced short circuit

we had other with any  air conditioner and we had the same problem (over heating on electronic card)
