Coke Pit & Maze Cleaning

What are the procedures followed for cleaning of pit & mazes generally in refineries & what is the frequency of cleaning, i am just in to operations and need some experts experienced people’s suggestion related to this

Usually the maze is cleaned depending on its design through the clam shell or front end loader, our pratica is cleaned twice a week,  the pit, as it always is in constant motion of the Coke from the pit
