ConocoPhillips begins planned work at Borger refineryTORONTO, June 6, 2010 (Reuters) – ConocoPhillips Inc said on Saturday it began work on many unspecified units at its joint venture 153,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Borger, Texas, according to a filing made with state regulators.
In a filing with the Texas Commission for Environmental Quality, the company said many units would be shut down for scheduled maintenance and repair.
Sources of emissions listed in the report included the flare for the fluid catalytic cracking unit and a gas oil hydrotreater.
Work was expected to end on July 22, 2010, the filing said.
