(New York) By Aaron Clark
July 29, 2008 (Bloomberg) — ConocoPhillips said it shut a system
for repair after a compressor trip caused a release at its
Linden, New Jersey, refinery.
A “problem with water cooling system caused compressor
trip resulting in a S2S release,” ConocoPhillips said today in
an environmental regulatory filing. “System shut down for
repair.”’
The refinery can process up to 250,000 barrels of crude oil
a day, according to the Energy Department.
