Please excuse the previous, I had to edit the Font,
      Message:
Ive searched the web, Engr-Tips and this Forum and have not found any history of cracked welds in overhead piping. We have a 12 bypass line tied into the 30 overhead line.  The 12 is A335-P5 (5CR1/2Mo) and the 30 is ASTM 691 (1-1/4Cr1/2Mo), tie-in is through a weld-o-let.  Ive just been handed this assignment and plan to review all weld procedures, inspection reports, etc.  especially with regard to pre-heat and PWHT.
Does anyone have any experience with this  or advice?
      Thank you,
      Lcarter157
