Frontier El Dorado Shuts FCC OctNEW YORK, Oct 2 (Reuters) 10/2/09 – Frontier Oil said Friday it shut its gasoline-making
fluid catalytic cracking unit at its 130,000 barrel-per-day El Dorado, Kansas refinery.
The refinery will also shut a gofiner for planned work, likely on
Oct. 4, a spokeswoman for the refinery said.

Frontier Refinery Run 58MBD (~50%) Oct/Nov during S/D Work  on FCC
HOUSTON, Oct 4, 2009 (Reuters) – Frontier Oil said on Monday its 130,000-barrel-per-day-capacity El Dorado, Kansas, refinery would run 58,000 barrels of crude oil per day in October and part of November while work is done on two units.
Overhauls are being done on a gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking unit and gofiner unit at the refinery. The FCC was shut last week and the gofiner over the weekend. The work is expected to take five weeks.
