UPDATE 1-Frontier plans FCC work at KS and WY refineries
NEW YORK, Jan 16 (Reuters) – Frontier Oil said on Friday it was planning maintenance on gasoline-making fluid catalytic cracker units at its refineries in El Dorado, Kansas, and Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Frontier planned a full turnaround at an FCC at its 120,000 barrel per day El Dorado refinery in the fourth quarter of 2009, spokeswoman Kristine Boyd said Friday. The work is expected to last approximately five weeks in October and November, Boyd said.
The turnaround will also include work on the refinery’s gofiner, she said.
The company was also planning two weeks of work on an FCC at its 52,000 barrel per day Cheyenne refinery in March.
