      Venezuela Completes Amuay Refinery Maintenance, Panorama Says

      Nov. 21, 2007  (Bloomberg) — Petroleos de Venezuela SA, the state oil company, finished preventive maintenance at units of the Amuay refinery, a part of the world’s biggest refining complex, Panorama reported.
      Workers replaced catalysts in three reactors in unit Hday- 2 and replaced another catalyst in unit Hday-3, modernized instruments in furnace F-301, conducted general repairs in towers and exchangers of unit Sway-4, as well as tasks in the naphtha plant Nfay-3, the Maracaibo, Venezuela daily said.
      The project was initially anticipated to last from June to October, Panorama said.Amuay is part of the Paraguana Refining Complex, which at 940,000 barrels a day is the world’s biggest.
