I’ve been contacted by Bently-Nevada about a very simple system to aid in cutting, give positive indication of a clean drum, and in addition to cutting pressure indicate if your auto-switching cutting bit is in the right mode. They have been testing this system in the US. Has anyone tried this system and could comment on it?
