Repsol YPF’s La Plata Refinery Hit by Power Cut, El Dia Says
By Guy CollinsApril 30, 2009 (Bloomberg) — Repsol YPF’s La Plata refinery in Argentina was hit by a power cut yesterday which triggered a cloud of black smoke, El Dia reported. The interruption to power, caused by a fault at a substation, lasted more than 40 minutes, El Dia cited YPF officials as saying. The refinery has the capacity to process 189,000 barrels of oil a day.
