Repsol’s La Plata Refinery in Argentina Postpones Start-Up of FCCU

CORDOBA, ARGENTINA–(MARKET WIRE)–Jul 24, 2008 — Repsol YPF’s (Madrid, Spain) La Plata refinery in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is undergoing a revamp and maintenance shutdown in a fluid catalytic cracking unit. The modifications are being made to change the unit’s feedstock from diesel fuel distillate to a crude distillate. KBR Incorporated (Houston, Texas) was awarded a contract for the $20 million project.
