      Suncor Energy: Edmonton Refinery At Normal Processing Rates After Planned Maintenance

(SU) Thursday said it has safely completed its planned maintenance and normal operations have resumed at its Edmonton refinery in Alberta, Canada. The work, which got underway on April 22, took place on one of the refinery’s crude units and associated processing units, and included tie-in work for several capital projects, the company said an April 19 press release.
      Suncor had made the necessary arrangements to ensure sufficient finished product was available and customer supply agreements were met.
      The 135,000-barrels-a-day Edmonton refinery runs entirely on oil-sands-based feedstocks and produces a high yield of light oils, according to Suncor’s website.
