Thermowell Material

I´m Sorry I post it again in order to get any answer
 
If I remember in the past this thermowell were of stainless steel with stellite coating (best practice), this due to the process of high temperature and erosion . Could you tell me if this has changed? Exists  something better?

That is correct. In our unit we have the same material that you mentioned.
