Holly Expects To Run 70,000 B/D At Tulsa Refinery In Sept
August 12, 2009 HOUSTON -(Dow Jones)- Holly Corp. (HOC) expects to run 70,000 barrels of crude a day in September at its newly acquired Tulsa, Okla. refinery, the company said Monday.
Holly closed on the $65 million purchase of the refinery on June 1. At that time the plant, which was owned by Sunoco Inc., was running about 50,000 barrels a day, the company said Monday during its second quarter earnings call with analysts.
Holly has been slowly ramping the refinery up.
The refinery has a total capacity of 85,000 barrels a day.
