Valero Energy Corp. reported a breakdown in its coker unit at its 325,000 b/d Port Arthur refinery, spokesman Bill Day said Aug 16. The coker will remain on circulation until the problem is resolved, which Valero expects to happen by Aug. 22. Meanwhile, the company expects a drop in production of 70,000 b/d of gasoline and 50,000 b/d of distillates, he said
