Exxon Shuts Coker Wet-Gas Compressor at Beaumont RefineryBy Jordan Burke
Jan. 15, 2009 (Bloomberg) — Exxon Mobil Corp., the worlds
largest oil company, will shut down a coker wet-gas compressor
at its Beaumont, Texas, refinery to fix an electrical problem.
The company will shut the unit to repair a malfunctioning
circuit breaker, Exxon Mobil, based in Irving, Texas, said in
state regulatory filing.
The Beaumont refinery can process 363,100 barrels of oil
per day, according to the U.S. Energy Department.
