Coke Drums and Fractionator lift at Gazprom Neft

New coke drums and fractionator tower are in place at Gazprom Neft Omsk Refinery in Western Siberia. The three aging coke drums with an existing capacity of 767,000 tons/year are replaced by two new drums. The new DCU will have a processing capacity of two million tons of crude per year.

Along with other upgrades, the delayed coking unit will increase the conversion rate to 97 percent, with a yield of light petroleum products increased to 80 percent. It will also allow production of 38,700 tons of raw needle coke.
